Chiodos rocked the Warped Tour this year. This is not purely my opinion but rather a fact. Just ask anyone—I dare them to challenge you. The entire year was a busy one for the guys. They released their album Bone Palace Ballet and headlined a tour with other peta2 pals Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Emery.
Chiodos bassist Matt Goddard and drummer Derrick Frost sat down and had a lovely little chat with peta2. Topics of interest included dissection, the disgusting world of dogfighting, and the band's vegetarian guitarist, Jason, and his delicious tofu stir-fry—just to name a few.
And if that's not enough Chiodos for you, check out peta2's "I Am Not a Nugget" petition. You'll see with your own pretty little eyes that the band's very own Craig Owens signed his name to it. As it turns out, Craig-like me, the rest of peta2, and thousands of others-wants to see chickens included in the Humane Slaughter Act. Read up on the campaign, then add your name to the petition today!
Like the guys say, there are so many alternatives to dissection that if students don't want to cut open an animal, they certainly shouldn't have to. If you agree and want to pledge not to dissect, get to it!
