At peta2, we spend a whole lot of time coming up with new ways to help animals, and while the tried-and-true methods of talking to people about vegetarianism or buying cruelty-free products still make a world of difference for animals every day, sometimes a really interesting drawing, comic, or other piece of art has an even bigger impact. While we’re pretty good at talking up a storm, we’re not really the best artists in the world. Which is where you come in: We need your animal rights art. We want moving, humorous, or thought-provoking sketches, paintings, photos of sculptures or craftwork, comic strips, Photoshop- or MS Paint-generated creations, or anything else that someone might reasonably look at and say, “Dude, that’s artistic.” It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece (though seriously, it does kinda need to be good), but it does have to draw attention to animal rights issues or peta2 in a constructive way. So no matter how great they are, please don’t just send us, like, paintings of your cat, unless you can find a way to get a strong animal rights message in there.
To get an idea of what we’re talking about, check out everyone else’s beautiful pieces on peta2’s brand-new deviantART profile. Once you’re suitably inspired, use the form below to upload your own artwork, or just e-mail it to peta2@peta2.com. (by sending your art to this e-mail address, we take that to mean you’ve read and agreed to the Terms of Submission).
Show Us Your Art!
Everyone who sends us a piece of art will receive 500 Street Team points. If we see something we really like, we’ll make it our featured piece on deviantART, so this is your big chance to get some serious recognition for your artistic genius and help animals at the same time!
