Bread and Hummus
This is a vegan staple. Either grab one of the many delicious ready-made varieties of hummus from the supermarket or make your own:
1 tin chickpeas, drained
3 Tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. salt, optional
Place all the ingredients into a blender (or do the ‘chunky’ version by mashing them with a potato masher or fork) and mix until smooth. Top your snack with avocado, fake meat or anything else that takes your fancy!
