Meet the peta2 Staff: peta2 Road Warriors 
SarahHometown: Cleveland, Ohio Fave bands: Motley Crue, Hanson, and Bedlight for Blue Eyes Why are you on the road for peta2? I love animals, music, and traveling—it's the perfect job! 
LizHometown: Glendale, Arizona Fave bands: Alkaline Trio, Bayside, Broadway Calls, With Honor, Dead Prez, The Lawrence Arms, The Movielife, I Am The Avalanche, Brand New, H2O, The Honor System, Kelly Clarkson, Will Smith, and Elvis Why are you on the road for peta2? I love talking to people about animal rights, music and traveling. There is no better way to combine the three! 
PaigeHometown: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Fave bands: Ice Nine Kills, Only Crime, Inner Party System, City and Colour, the Swellers, Rise Against, Anti-Flag, the Spill Canvas, and Strike Anywhere Why are you on the road for peta2? For me, it is the most effective way to help animals. It is something I enjoy doing and can feel good about. I know that every day, I make a difference in the animal rights movement, and I have the opportunity to teach others to do the same. It helps animals, people, and the environment. 
JoeyHometown: West Chester, Ohio Fave bands: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, Bayside, Ben Folds, Against Me!, the Clash, the Used, Death Cab For Cutie, etc. Why are you on the road for peta2? I'm touring for peta2 to help spread the word about the horrifying things that are happening to our animal friends worldwide. We can't stop injustice unless people know about it. I truly believe that the only reason that people don't care more about animal rights and go veg is because they don't actually know what's going on. 
SusanHometown: Batavia (Cincinnati), Ohio Fave bands: Hanson, June, and the Forecast Why are you on the road for peta2? Because it's awesome! I love saving animals, traveling around the country, meeting new people, eating at amazing vegan places, and seeing good bands! What more could anyone ask for in a job?! 
HeatherHometown: Annandale/Richmond, Virginia Fave bands: The Get Up Kids, Alkaline Trio, Mates of State, Islands, the Blow, the Faint, Mirah, Neutral Milk Hotel, the Anniversary, Cold War Kids, Le Tigre, Flight of the Conchords, Tokyo Police Club, and SO many more. Why are you on the road for peta2? It is a really unique opportunity. I get to travel around the country, talk to young people about animals, and take in some good shows at the same time. I love animals, I love music, and I am excited about doing what I can for animals by promoting awareness and action. 
JamesHometown: I grew up on the Jersey Shore but was transplanted to Honolulu, Hawaii. Fave bands: Less Than Jake, Rancid, Goldfinger, Madball, Rise Against, and Earth Crisis Why are you on the road for peta2? Because a change in society will be the most effective way to save animals, and that change begins with education. And so I can eat great vegan food in every major U.S. city! 
KennethHometown: Uxbridge, Massachusetts Fave bands: Orchid, Converge, American Nightmare, Against Me!, and Strike Anywhere Why are you on the road for peta2? I want to get out there and not only help people realize how terrible animal exploitation is but also help people who are already veg with any troubles that they might have. This includes easing the minds of parents of younger kids who have stopped eating meat by explaining how to give their children proper nutrition while respecting a plant-based diet. 
NicolleHometown: I was born in Tacoma, Washington, but now I live in Cocoa, Florida. Fave bands: This one is tough; it's like picking your favorite child! Less Than Jake, AFI, Mindless Self Indulgence, Dave Matthews Band, Postal Service, Taking Back Sunday, and The Academy Is. Why are you on the road for peta2? For the awesome experience of spending the summer traveling and talking to young adults about choosing to go vegetarian. And to give a voice to all the helpless animals who don't have one. 
RobynHometown: Mandeville, Louisiana Fave bands: Brand New, David Dondero, the Pettit Project, the Promise Ring, and Cursive Why are you on the road for peta2? I get to travel around the country, meet all sorts of awesome people, and expose kids to animal rights while attending shows. It's great! 
SabrinaHometown: Ellsworth, Maine, but born in Las Vegas, Nevada Fave bands: The Beatles, New Found Glory, Bowling for Soup, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Unwritten Law, and many others! Why are you on the road for peta2? Because helping animals is a way of life for me, and a whole summer of promoting animal rights is an absolute dream! Helping animals in any way rocks my socks off! Changing just one mind will make me plenty happy and will be worth the hard work!
