Attention design students, budding artists, and those who just love to draw: peta2 is on the prowl for a new anti-fur design, and we want YOU to design it!
If you don't know already, the fur industry is nothing short of an animal massacre. Defenseless animals are trapped, beaten, electrocuted, and sometimes even skinned while still alive. Most of the fur sold in the U.S. comes from animals who suffered on Chinese fur farms. Right now, China has no federal laws protecting these animals. Use this contest as an opportunity to create a design that'll give these animals a voice!
The rules are simple. The design must include an anti-fur message and the new peta2 "Free for All" logo (feel free to change the color of the logo to fit your design). You're welcome to put the design on any format that you want (shirt, sticker, poster, PSA, etc.). Feel free to be creative!
We will pick five designs to be featured in our March 26th blog to be voted on by your peers. So hurry up and get your Photoshop on!
You can enter your design by completing the form below. The grand-prize winner will be announced on the peta2 blog on March 30 and will receive a peta2 goody bag that includes a "Mean People Wear Fur" tee, an anti-fur button, anti-fur stickers, and an award (perfect to put in your portfolio)!
This contest has now ended.
