Exclusive Interview With The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

By Megan Rondeau

It didn't take long for The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus to make a name for themselves. Only three years after forming, the Florida natives already had a gold record, a headlining tour, and a chart-topping radio hit under their belt. Now that they've toured the word, had their music featured in movies and video games, and continued their run of mainstream success, what more was there to do but get involved with the world's largest youth animal rights organization? Now they've done it all!

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is not a band that has let rock-star status go to their heads. Through it all, they've managed to keep what's truly important at the forefront of things. In the past, they've headlined the Take Action Tour, sharing the stage with Emery and Scary Kids Scaring Kids to help raise awareness about preventing teen suicide and helped support and raise funds for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. This time around, frontman Ronnie Winter is talking to fans about another important issue—animal rights. Check out the video below to hear Ronnie's thoughts on the treatment of animals in the circus, reasons to adopt from animal shelters, and ways that everyone can get involved to make the world a better place for animals.

Ronnie Winter of the band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus sat down to answer peta2's hard-hitting questions. Check it out!
