Seattle’s own emo/pop-punk darlings Acceptance first got our attention with their killer hooks and powerful vocals. Then we just about hit the ceiling when we found out that Christian McAlhaney, the man responsible for their bone-crushing guitar licks, has been vegetarian for 10 years! First-rate rock and a love for animals is a match made in peta2 heaven (if we do say so ourselves).
Lucky us, we got to sit down with Christian after one of Acceptance’s famous heart-pounding, goosebump-inducing shows to ask him how he got so darn cool. Not only did we get insider info on what Christian likes to eat on tour, but more importantly, we found out why Christian decided that going vegetarian was just the right thing to do.
