I first discovered A Cursive Memory when the video for the song "Everything" debuted on MTV last year. The video, which featured the guys running around Hollywood chasing celebrities, was a huge hit! Since then, A Cursive Memory has put out a debut album, hit the stages of Warped Tour and even traveled to Alaska to play with animals!
I knew A Cursive Memory would be perfect for peta2 when I saw the music video for "Perfect Company." Aside from being all-around nice guys who write infectiously catchy pop songs, Mark, Colin, Shaun, and Dillan love animals as much as I do! In fact, they traveled all the way to Alaska just so they could hang out with some adorable animals up close and personal. Sounds like a great way to spend a few days, if you ask me!
Since signing to Vagrant Records (when they were still in high school!), A Cursive Memory has toured alongside peta2 favorites Saves the Day and hellogoodbye, has been featured on TRL, and sweated out the summer on Warped Tour. Pretty impressive for some kids from Cali who self-released their first two EPs. We recently caught up with the band on tour and roamed the streets of L.A. to talk about rescuing animals, dissection in schools, and how only mean people wear fur.

I know by now you adore this band as much as I do! The guys are currently hard at work writing their follow-up to Changes, but in the meantime you can tide yourself over by spending way too much time on their YouTube channel. Take the next step in being kind to animals by signing our pledge to be fur-free!
