He’s played killers, Hercules, and a football player and was on The Mickey Mouse Club with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake, but in real life, Ryan Gosling is most like the loving character he plays in the popular summer date movie The Notebook. Because he will not tolerate cruelty and abuse—no matter who the victim is—Ryan has penned a letter to KFC, urging the company to implement PETA’s recommended basic animal-welfare standards, which will stop the worst abuses of the nearly 750 million chickens who are raised and killed every year for KFC restaurants.
