Joan Jett has had a busy year. It’s been nonstop touring for the veteran rocker, who’s been on the road supporting her latest release, Sinner. She even had a sweltering stint on this summer’s Warped Tour, where we caught up with our friend again and gave her the lowdown on what our undercover investigators recently found in a Butterball slaughterhouse, prompting her to record a Butterball hotline message. PETA’s investigation at the Ozark, Arkansas, slaughterhouse uncovered vicious acts of cruelty to animals, including that employees were punching and kicking live birds and slamming them against metal trailers. One employee stomped on a bird’s head until her skull exploded, and another was documented swinging a turkey against a metal handrail so hard that that the bird’s spine popped out. Outraged?
