Louise Burns makes most teenagers look like complete and utter tools. Of course, most people her age aren’t in a rock-edged pop group whose cover of the Romantics’ “What I Like About You” was tapped as the theme to a WB sitcom of the same name.
It’s not that Lillix’s bassist means to make others feel inferior – it’s just that when you’re beautiful, talented and intelligent and get to play the Warped Tour, the jealousy virus naturally spreads. But what’s unique about Louise is that she’s also compassionate and isn’t afraid to root for the underdog. For instance, she’s vegan and makes sure that she buys cruelty-free products – even when she’s on the road. In fact, she was at a store shortly before this interview and called a company to make sure they didn’t test before she bought their product.
The thing is, as we write this, we’re realizing that we’re instilling how much cooler Louise is than you, and for that we apologize. If you can’t take the heat, we suggest you don’t watch the interview. But if you want to take notes, grab your pen and paper and push play.
