Dave Elkins from Mae has a lot in common with PETA2: We're both based in Norfolk, Virginia; we both love animals; and we both want you to speak up and report animal abuse.
How? Well, if you see someone causing "unnecessary suffering" (this is illegal in most states), you can start by writing down what you see and talking to your local animal-protection agency (humane societies and animal shelters). Doesn't sound hard at all, does it? Check out your local library or head over to HelpingAnimals.com to get more info about exactly what "unnecessary suffering" means in your area.
