Say Anything's Alex Kent

Say Anything's bassist, Alex Kent, is one great big sweetheart! Despite his insanely busy schedule, he still made time to talk with me about things that are important to him. And when I say insanely busy, I'm not exaggerating. He was so strapped for time that he literally ran to the stage following the interview! Anyway, Alex and I talked about one of the loves of his life, his dog Harvey, as well as some tougher topics like the repulsive world of dogfighting and the absolutely unnecessary act of testing on animals.

Be sure to check out Say Anything's latest double-disc album, In Defense of the Genre, for a number of reasons. One is that I can't get enough of the song "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too." Another is that Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday does guest vocals on one of the tracks, and I can never get enough of Adam Lazzara. And finally, you should check it out just because it's a damn good album!
