'Be Nice to Bunnies' iPhone App Starring Stephanie Pratt
You're shopping with friends and find the perfect shade of nail polish, the one you've been searching everywhere for, but you don't see the cruelty-free logo on the label. Was it tested on animals? You're out of deodorant, the store doesn't carry your brand, and none of the labels mention animal testing. Are they cruelty-free? Now the answer's at your fingertips with the "Be Nice to Bunnies" iPhone app, courtesy of the fine folks at Hot Frog Creative. PETA and Hot Frog Creative have teamed up to bring you one of the most helpful iPhone apps available.
Using cruelty-free products is important to Stephanie Pratt, star of MTV's hit reality show The Hills. Stephanie feels so strongly about animal testing that she agreed to show her buns for the cover of the "Be Nice to Bunnies" iPhone app to educate her fans about what happens to animals used in product tests.
Stephanie wants everyone to know that although more than 1,000 companies have banned all animal tests, hundreds of thousands of bunnies, mice, rats, guinea pigs, and other animals are still blinded, poisoned, and killed in painful, unreliable, and unnecessary product tests each year. Find out what Stephanie had to say in her exclusive interview with peta2.
