Summer, summer, summer! Thank goodness you're finally here. Check out these stylish peta2 picks that will have you looking fierce all summer long.

For Her

Just because the summer of 2010 is gonna be a scorcher doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to keep your cool. So look for flowing, airy fabrics, such as this super cute Tie-Dye Peasant Top by Fashion Fuse, the Lexi Dolman, or the Anesa Floral Cami. Add some shorts—the Revolt Vintage Jean Short is adorable—or a mini, and you're set. They'll all look great with your fave jeans, too, but I also like them with the Truck Jeans Essential Skinny pants in white.

I am madly in love with the Kellie Eyelet Dress from dELiA's. It screams summer, as does Alloy's Gia Floral Dress. Old Navy's Cross-Front Knit Dress is great for summer, too, and you can dress it up or down depending on your mood.

Animal-free summer shoes are everywhere, and there are countless options—which makes choosing just one pair virtually impossible … so don't! I love, love, love the Darin Heels from Alloy, and Charlotte Russe's Floral Ruffled Front Ribcage Wedge Sandals are adorable too! But if you need something a bit more casual, Forever 21's Stud Accent Sandals are cute, will go with just about anything in your closet, and look pretty comfy to me. And you can never go wrong with a cute pair of flip-flops.

 

For Him

Guys, the same goes for you—think light fabrics and short sleeves, which won't be hard to find since everyone's got a great supply. Old Navy's Chest-Stripe Jersey Polo goes great with their Belted Twill Cargo Shorts or AE's Classic Flat Front Shorts. Of course Old Navy's Heathered Jersey Polos or AE's Athletic Pique Polo would also work with those shorts or with jeans, if you must, but remember—it's gonna be hot.

If you do decide you need some jeans, try 21 Men's Low Rise Fitted Jeans, and throw on one of their Crew Neck Tees, their SGT Woven Shirt, or AE's Eagle Madras Shirt, which, of course, you could also wear with shorts. So many options ….

For shoes, it's summer, so be casual and grab some authentic canvas Vans. They come in tons of colors, and you can wear them with anything—and because they're a classic, you can't go wrong.
