We've all wished that our school cafeterias would serve vegan muffins, pancakes, "sausage," "chicken" nuggets, veggie burgers, nondairy cream cheese, tofu, and even soft-serve desserts, e.g., vegan ice cream (is your mouth watering yet?). But did you ever realize how easy it could be to make it happen?
Sometimes, just politely asking is all you need to do to get more animal-friendly foods in your cafeteria. So what's stopping you? Check out our suggestions below for making this happen, and e-mail us if you have any questions. We also have some specific actions listed below for you to take to earn mad peta2 Street Team points.
Remember, not only will veganizing your cafeteria help animals—it will also make your life as an herbivore drastically easier. If you don't veganize your cafeteria for animals, do it for yourself!
