Earn Free Stuff Fighting Dissection

There are tons of steps you can take to fight dissection and earn free stuff from peta2. We’ve brainstormed to come up with a partial list of ideas, but as you know there are an infinite number of ways you can help animals, and we want to hear about all of your efforts.

Remember, you can always e-mail peta2@peta2.com for campaign materials, copies of videos, or answers to any questions.

Get a dissection choice policy in writing at your school.
Having a policy in writing will not only protect the students currently attending your school, but it will also ensure that future students will be made aware of their rights. Use our sample to write a proposal giving everyone the right to choose not to cut up animals. Submit it to your principal or superintendent. Provide us with the name of your school and the name of a member of the administration we can contact for verification.

Show “Classroom Cut-Ups.”
Have your teacher show peta2’s video “Classroom Cut-Ups” in class, or just reserve a room and show it yourself. The video contains footage from our undercover investigations of Carolina Biological Supply Company and Ward’s Biology, the companies that supply most animals used for dissection in the U.S. It describes the many problems associated with dissection and details some of the many humane alternatives. Let us know how the showing goes.
