It’s time again for our nationwide search for outstanding and dedicated folks who want to spend their summer getting paid to help animals. Whether you’re looking for a sweet job just for the summer or a gateway into a full-time job at PETA, apply today for peta2’s summer program!
Over the past four years, peta2 summer program coordinators have dominated every youth-oriented festival and tour in the United States, handing out free stickers and information on helping animals and gathering thousands of sign-ups for the peta2 e-news. The summer is coming up fast, and once again PETA is seeking program coordinators to organize outreach and tabling activities at youth-oriented events.
Candidates must be serious, responsible, outgoing, and personable and should have knowledge of animal rights issues. Candidates must also have strong initiative and be able to work independently and, ideally, should be available to work from April through September (though other time frames may be considered). Applicants must be 21 years of age by May 14, 2007, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and be eligible for employment in the United States.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 21, you won’t be able to get this job, but you can apply to intern at PETA’s headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia, and receive free housing and cash while learning the ropes at the world’s largest animal rights organization. For those of you under the age of 18, join the Street Team and get paid for the things you do to help animals with free T-shirts, messenger bags, and more.
