PETA + HBO = Movie Party

If there were a documentary about your favorite animal rights group (PETA), you'd watch it, right? Well, there's a new animal rights documentary coming out on HBO that you just have to check out. It's called I Am an Animal: The Story of Ingrid Newkirk and PETA, and it's all about this animal rights machine we call PETA and our tireless president, Ingrid Newkirk. To help promote it, we want you to gather your friends and family around the television and watch it together.

Behind all the cute stickers, celebrity advertisements, and Web sites, our organization has a staff of dedicated individuals led by an amazing leader, Ingrid. If you spend even a short time with her, you'll know that she means business. Ingrid is in the office at all hours of the day (and night), travels the globe inspiring others with her wisdom, and remains on the cutting edge by thinking of new ideas for campaigns. For example, the peta2 Street Team would never have been possible without her faith in the power of young people to make a difference for the billions of animals around the world suffering in slaughterhouses, laboratories, puppy mills, and other places every day.
