Chickens killed for McDonald's often have their wings and legs broken and their throats cut while they're still conscious, and they are sometimes scalded to death. How can you help end this? If you've been to KentuckyFriedCruelty.com, then you know that PETA is asking KFC to eliminate the worst abuses that chickens suffer on the factory farms and in the slaughterhouses of its suppliers, including live scalding, lifelong crippling, and painful debeaking. KFC tortures chickens in ways that would result in felony cruelty-to-animals charges if cats or dogs were the victims, but KFC still refuses to make any changes.
We've come up with just a few ways for you to help the nearly 1 billion chickens killed each year for KFC and earn some free stuff for yourself while you're at it. Of course, you have to join the peta2 Street Team to get in on the fun.
Just so you know, Canadians did a great job in securing a victory and an end to the campaign in Canada only, but we're still going ahead everywhere else around the world.
