Cats Are Not Science Experiments

Check out all the details below and then click "Get Points" to submit a form for points!

cats are not experiments

If you have a cat, you know how unique, quirky, sweet, and funny they are, right? And it’s a no-brainer that they feel happiness, sadness, and pain just as we do.

Unfortunately, experimenters at University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW-Madison) treat cats like they are nothing but science experiments–drilling holes into their skulls, purposely deafening them, starving them, and decapitating them in experiments that don’t even help humans!

Share the message with everyone you know that cats aren’t science experiments and ask them to take action against UW-Madison

Submit a photo of your kitty with a sign that says “I am NOT an experiment!” by clicking “Get points” above. Make sure you share it on  Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram to spread the word.

I posted over their facebook wall highlighting the horrors that go on behind the scenes, yet they blocked me soon after – yet I’ve appealed to facebook (and as non of my comments were hate speech or anything legible for banning) I believe i’ll be able to continue posting on their soon and bring light to the problem.
I posted this and erge others to do the same!:-)

I am doing a report on this known as big 6. Because I am a PETA fan and volunteer (also working on having a vegan bake sale at my school) I am ahead on my research. I already have 9 articles that are good for me to use. The highest other than me is 7. I am the one with the most research!!! XD I will do ANYTHING to prove that animals are someone, not just lab tool. Their lives are important. They DO matter.

I have two beautiful, evil, funny, and good kitties. They don’t deserve to be experimented on at all! nor don’t the other cats.

Good idea! If we all go to their facebook page and send them messages like that or the one I am gonna send saying “Double trouble is coming back to haunt you!” it can make a difference!

It is disgusting to perform dissection on animals when other scientific means are available. It is even more disgusting to involve chidren by including the activity in their curriculum. Thanks God government in my country had more sence not to expose children to such cruelty and barbarism!

I don’t agree with what so ever the manner and terms of procedures the cats have to go through. Cat’s are valued animals and this experiments are not treating nor handling the animals with proper care humanly means. Please consider to stop, or rather DO stop.

Just so maddening and disappointing! Madison is such a cool city, especially for compassionate animal-loving vegans…except for the whole business-influenced/funded university research realm. It’s so hard to believe intelligent people can do this depraved thing! Yes, absolutely, sign the letter, and share this with everyone you can! Thank you peta2 for keeping the pressure on them until they stop!

Making animal ‘testing’ illegal would not only end this abuse of animals, it would also wash away this disgusting, rancid stain on our scientific community and rid us of these pseudo-scientists who have become dangerously heartless as a result of being pressured into abusing/torturing animals.
