It’s becoming easier and easier to refuse to dissect or experiment on animals. Students around the world are asserting their right to an education that doesn’t violate their ethical principles, and you can, too. While your first step should be to sign peta2′s pledge not to dissect, you should also inform yourself about dissection and work on getting your school to adopt a dissection choice policy so that no student at your school can be forced to cut open animals.
Begin by downloading and printing out a “Cut Out Dissection” high school pack or “Cut Out Dissection” college pack with information on dissection and tips on how to start a campaign in your area.
After your teacher agrees to give you an alternate assignment to animal dissection, submit a report for points with all the details!
Keep us in the loop on your progress, and definitely let us know when you are successful with your campaign, whether you are fighting for an alternative project, a dissection-choice policy or replacement plan.
