Double Trouble

Timmy

Daisy

Patches

Marble

They are just some of the many cats who were tormented and killed by the University of Wisconsin (UW)–Madison. Cats abused by UW-Madison are intentionally deafened, are starved for days at a time, and have holes drilled into their heads, steel posts screwed to their skulls, and metal coils stitched to their eyes before they are killed! :(

The University of Wisconsin Boards of Regents is still determined to ignore the hundreds of thousands of people who have spoken out against this horrific experiment. It’s time to make ourselves and animals heard! Here’s how:

CALL the UW Board of Regents office (608-262-2324) and Regent President Brent Smith (608-784-5678) and politely urge them to stop experimenting on cats immediately!

Don’t forget to let us know how the calls went for 500 points by clicking the “Get Points” tab above!

This sickens me :( I love my cats, I don’t know how anyone with a heart could even consider doing this to poor innocent animals.

This NEEDS to end. Everyone needs to call and tell them to stop this nonsense. Why can’t the animal control stop them from doing this?????

Unfortunately, animal control has no say here since no laws are being broken. Animals in labs are routinely infected with diseases they would never normally contract, cut open, burned, starved, driven insane, poisoned, and killed—and it’s all legal. The only federal law that offers any sort of protection for animals in laboratories, the Animal Welfare Act, deals primarily with housekeeping issues, such as cage size. :(

This is a reply for Hannah Lamb. I agree this does need to end, it’s horrible and cruel. But revenge and being disrespectful isn’t going to help, we have use our anger / passion in a mature way if we want to make changes.

Just burns me up. They’re always in the news with press releases and interviews about their scientific “advancements”, but the cost is too freakin’ high. Thanks PETA for keeping the pressure on!!

There are psychopaths in this world pretending to work for the good of humanity engaging in sadistic experiments on animals. they often choose such jobs to vent their perversions in the name of science.

The experiments done on cats at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the name of medical research are barbaric, inhumane & disgusting. I am appalled & ashamed that any fellow human being could ever inflict such misery & torture on any living creature in the name of science. Further to add to my disguct is the fact that the US National Institute of Health gave more than $3 million to fund these experiments. Where is their conscience. And as for the sadistic mad scientists conducting these experiments, you have to wonder what they are doing in their spare time.

Creatures this beautiful and harmless should not be harmed for any reason at all. I wish that everyone in the world had the same mindset of those who fight for animals and see that the cruelty that is being done to them is wrong .

That’s really sick. Animals are family to me and I find it very wrong to do that. No animal should suffer like that for any reason.

I called, they said they would pass it on. I was very polite. But told th how cruel this was, & they needed to find a different way to accomplish this, but not on animals.
