Tell Your Family to Cut the Crap

Check out all the details below and then click "Get Points" to submit a form for points!

It’s a no-brainer that meat is awful. It’s awful for the animals who are killed for it. It’s awful for our bodies, which are much healthier without it. And finally, it’s AWFUL for the environment!

Carbon-dioxide, methane, and nitrous-oxide emissions together are the leading cause of climate change.

And guess what?

Raising animals for food is one of the largest sources of carbon-dioxide emissions and the single largest source of both methane and nitrous-oxide emissions.

If you care about the planet, help your friends and family make the connection that when they eat meat, the planet suffers.

Grab a marker and write the following on the toilet paper rolls in your home so that your family (and friends who stop by) are sure to see it:

"Making the Connection" toilet paper mission pictureMeat’s not green. Cut the crap—go vegan! peta2.com/connection

Snap a pic and submit it for points!

what sucks is that I only have a laptop with a camera. But I still did it…on every roll of toilet paper that we have…I hope my parents don’t fret about it because I need to make them aware :)

I’m kinda afraid to do this, because the marker might go through all the toilet paper and then no one can use it, so it would be a waste and my parents would yell at me.

You can roll it out and write on one sheet instead of writing directly onto the sheet while it’s still rolled up. :)

Can we tape a sign above the toilet paper so that it’ll be there for a much longer period of time?

You can get creative as long as the general idea is still the same & you mention peta2.com/Connection. :)
