Right now, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs, and other animals are locked inside cold, barren cages in laboratories across the country. They’re in pain. They’re alone. They live in a constant state of fear. All they can do is wait for the next terrifying procedure that will be performed on them.
On any given day, they’ll be routinely infected with diseases that they would never normally contract, cut open, burned, starved, driven insane, poisoned, and killed—and it’s all legal.
