Ahh! Tomorrow is “Hug a Vegetarian” Day! Are you prepared?! We’re busy putting the finishing touches on our Los Angeles event—and if you’re still trying to think of ways to make this the best “Hug a Vegetarian” Day ever, we’re here for ya!

Check out my fave ways to celebrate the greatest day of the year:
1) Online. Before you hit the hallway tomorrow, spread the word about “Hug a Vegetarian” Day online! Change your Facebook timeline cover to this one to let all your Facebook friends know the deal!
2) With food. OK, everyone loves to eat, right?! This year, peta2 partnered with the vegan-meat experts at Gardein (they make veggie burgers, vegan chicken tenders, vegan pulled pork, and way, waaaaaaay more) to offer $1 off any Gardein product! You can find their delish vegan meats at Target, Whole Foods, and your local grocery store. Whip up some veggie burgers, invite your friends over, and hug it up!
3) At school. Duh! This is the best way to get your hug on and spread the word about how positive, fun, and simple it is to be vegan. Our signs make it easy to send the message to all your friends—vegetarians and nonvegetarians alike! Grab some signs and make sure you snap lots of photos at school tomorrow! Did we mention that you’ll get 1,000 points? Sweet!

To celebrate I plan to make my own sign as I do not have a printer and make and share awesome vegan food!
