8 Animal-Friendly Netflix Suggestions
Posted July 27, 2011 by Sunny Subramanian
Educating yourself about animal rights, food choices, health, and veganism really is as simple as sitting down and watching a movie. Oo, I like the way that sounds! It’s also a great way to collectively get your friends and family in on the action. Whip up a batch of popcorn, grab some Red Vines, and get ready for some awesome animal-friendly feature presentations.
If you’re rockin’ Netflix, be sure to queue these babies up!

It’s awesome they’re promoting The Beautiful Truth. That’s a really good movie. I found it particularly interesting as a vegan with brain cancer. I haven’t really seen the other movies up there, but I’ll have to check them out (:

Earthlings is really powerful. It covers such a wide variety of issues that I love showing it to my student group during events. The Cove is AMAZING! I would definately reccommend Bold Native – such a great story! I feel like Food, Inc. talks about the animal aspects, but also talks about the industry a lot. I prefer Earthlings over Food, Inc. but it’s still a great movie.
Never seen the other ones, but looking forward to watching them.
