A Sign of the Times?

Hmm … I bet that when that shameless front for the cruel animal experimentation industry, the Foundation for Biomedical Research (FBR), started putting up a series of misleading and offensive billboards, it wasn’t expecting them to get a makeover:

Compassionate daredevils have been giving these billboards much-needed improvements wherever they pop up, like the one above in Seattle, and another one in Portland, Oregon.

Meanwhile, PETA has our new—and more honest—ads which are going up in cities around the country!

What do you think?

Stay loud!

OH man I saw the first one near my mom’s doctor’s office and I freaked out. I was so mad. How can a girl get a ladder big enough to do some make-over-ing of her own? >.< so wrong and by the way i think rats are <3 adorable.

I agree with Jake. If it was a more “familiar” animal on the first billboard, people would think more about it.

Notice something–These companies chose a rat for their signs. Why? They don’t inspire much sympathy from the public. If people saw tortured monkeys, bunnies, and puppies, they would be angry. But a healthy rat? Clever work from the reasrch stations.
