Ellen DeGeneres, Gordon Ramsay, and Entourage star Adrian Grenier are among the many stars who have recently done something awesome for animals:

  • Guess who was named MVP of the MLB All-Star Game? Yep, that would be vegetarian royalty Prince Fielder.
  • Just when you thought you couldn’t love Ellen DeGeneres any more, she ups and rescues a sick kitten.
  • First of all, who knew that socialite Cornelia Guest was a vegan? While you digest that, consider the news that she’s launching a vegan handbag line. Are you listening, Paris Hilton?
  • Morrissey puts some muscle behind his “no meat” concert clause.
  • Bluefin tunas join Adrian Grenier‘s entourage.
  • Weird Al Yankovic finds out the hard way that Sir Paul McCartney doesn’t like chicken soup.
  • First, Cupcake Wars crowned a vegan winner. Then Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi returned to her vegetarian roots. Now Master Chef, home of notoriously grumpy gourmet Gordon Ramsay, has challenged the contestants to create a vegetarian meal. Could a prime-time Post-Punk Kitchen be next?

All the venues Morrissey has hired for his concerts are vegetarian. This is more of a news story than a sarcastic steward who said ‘we’re searching for meat’

I find it insulting to animal lovers that thr ‘butcher’ Gordon Ramsey is praised on this site!

If you look on youtube you will see him slaughtering animals in front of his children , It’s called ‘kill the meat, eat the meat’ The man has been mocking vegetarians for years.
Please get some researchers as I’m sick to my stomach knowing you’ve been fool by that foul man.

I think you missed the whole point of that show. He has, in shows before, mocked vegetarianism, but only as part of his stage character. That show shows where he really stands with it.
He was teaching his kids properly where their foods come from, making sure they don’t take it for granted, not separating animals from meat in their minds like most parents do. There’d be a lot more vegetarians round if more parents taught their kids about food like he has.
You’re calling him foul, yet he’s likely doing far more for animals in that, than any omnivore friends or family you might have.

        Hello.

So would you confirm Gordon’s kids are vegetarian now ? Otherwise…. it’s a bit pointless. Even if I’m more for encouraging than blaming… I believe it’s a non sense.

This is the same Gordon Ramsay that wouldn’t serve veggies in his restaurant? Are you kidding?
