They say that art imitates life, so clearly life is pretty exciting right about now if you’re an animal rights supporter!
Just ask Aleksandr Khomyakov, a student at the prestigious (and vegan-friendly) Rhode Island School of Design, who was inspired to integrate the fight for animal rights into his photomontage assignment.
According to Alex, his project was motivated by the fact that he “can’t count the number of people who gave [him] a response like ‘No, it’ll break my heart’ or ‘No, it will make me unhappy’” when he has suggested that they watch the documentary Earthlings. He added, “Hopefully those people will stop to look at this piece of artwork and at least visit PETA’s website to see what’s up.”
What do you think? Does Alex’s project make you want to get active for animals?
Well, I love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, CSI, Criminal Minds, Doctor Who and comic books (I mean, my profile pic IS Damian Wayne and Bat-Cow...). I'm kind of spazzy and I tend to ramble... I'm also an obsessive perfectionist...heh heh...a science/tech nerd and a vegetarian.
I grew up in the United States. My mom is white. My father is Latino. I love to save animals, even spiders. So don't kill my spiders..I love dogs, pigs, all creatures that the world has made for you and me-to protect and love/and NOT to kill. I believe in love & adventure. I believe in you have to live life to learn,LOVE life LOVE life..
