About Me: I grew up in Central Pennsylvania and now reside in Temecula, California, with my fiancé and fur baby.

Why You Went Vegan: In high school, I went vegetarian after watching Earthlings. Six years later, I watched Forks Over Knives and Vegucated, which sealed the deal: I made a lifestyle change and went vegan. I am happier and healthier than ever!

Companion Animal? My fiancé and I adopted our first fur baby, Paco, a Staffordshire bull terrier, in the summer of 2012. He was found as a stray covered with mange and spent more than 100 days in the shelter waiting for his forever home. Don't let Paco's looks deceive you—he is a giant baby and loves to lick faces.

Why Did You Decide to Go on Tour? I have been involved in animal rights and wanted to become even MORE involved. I was in the midst of searching for an internship and open positions for animal rights organizations, and one day … BAM! I got an e-mail from peta2 for open traveling positions. I knew that landing this position would be the opportunity of a lifetime. I love PETA, I love traveling, and I love outreach—it's absolutely perfect. I can't wait to get out there for animals!
