About me: I'll forever be sixteen at heart. My favorite movie is Peter Pan—the 2003 live-action version, not the Disney cartoon. That might factor into my aversion to growing up. My favorite days are spent walking around New York City with headphones on, hanging at home in Georgia with my family, playing basketball with my brothers, and going on afternoon adventures with my friends. I think every night should be taco night. The best way to describe me might be in the words of my friend Adam, who once said, "I wish I loved anything as much as Megan Rondeau loves pop-punk."

I like: Stage dives, sing-a-longs, sad songs, my kitties (Puffy and Misty), New York, Atlanta, nighttime, sleeping in, Diet Coke, Taco Bell, good hair days, the Boston Red Sox, toasted everything bagels with tofu cream cheese, hummus, starting a new book, flying, road trips, Wes Anderson movies, Freaks and Geeks, Chinese Buddha, and being with people I care about.

I hate:Humid weather, the Yankees, waking up early, airport security lines, reality TV, and coconut-flavored anything.

Why you went veg: I've been sympathetic to animal rights ever since I can remember. Even as a little kid, I was able to make an immediate connection between the food on my plate and the animal it once was, and it was something I was never able to overlook. After more than four years of not eating red meat or seafood, I finally went vegetarian when I was 17. There was not one specific incident that occurred, but after educating myself more to the horrors of the meat industry and factory farming, I could no longer justify eating any animal.
