About Us

About me: I'm an East Coast transplant now living in sunny Los Angeles and loving it. I go see local bands a lot—probably too much. I made almost all my L.A. friends through Twitter and Instagram: #modernlife.

I like: I really enjoy photography and cats, especially when I'm taking pictures of cats. I'm into fashion and starting style trends. Farmers markets are basically my form of candy store. I have a love affair with social media.

I hate: When my iPhone dies, when I can't decide what band to listen to, and when people ask questions that could more easily be Googled

Why I went vegan: I grew up going on fishing trips with my family. We caught and released, but I found myself eventually skipping out on vacation because I didn't want to hold a fish out of water, let alone rip something through his or her lip. From there, it was just a hop, skip, and a jump (and a few peta2 videos) until I completed my transition to a vegan diet and lifestyle. Life has been rainbows and kittens ever since.
