Hometown: Before moving out to L.A., I spent all 20 years of my life living in Greeley, Colorado!
Favorite Bands/Music: AFI, Blaqk Audio, 80s New Wave, A Flock of Seagulls, When In Rome, Naked Eyes, Modern English, Wizard Rock, Ministry of Magic, Harry Potter movie soundtracks, EDM, Zedd, ATB, Arty, David Guetta, Hunter Revenge, Of Monsters and Men, Swedish House Mafia.
About Me: I've got two siblings, one younger sister and one younger brother. I spend the majority of my free time rereading the entire Harry Potter series, when I'm not out advocating for animal rights. My favorite Harry Potter character is Tom M. Riddle. I think I was born too early—I should have been a teenager in the 80s. My favorite movie is The Breakfast Club. Davey Havok is my personal hero and someone I greatly look up to. I eat Daiya by the bag. I love veggie dogs and vegan pesto pizza!
I Like: A good sneeze. Vegan macaroni and cheese. Harry Potter. Zelda. Naruto. Music. Wearing fancy clothes. Styling my hair. Protests. Brat Pack movies. The city of Los Angeles. When dogs yawn or stretch. Kitty yawns. Squeaky shoes. Someone who can play the French horn or oboe well. Writing symphonies. Greyhounds. Tattoos. Oh, and did I mention Harry Potter?
I Dislike: Neutrality. Gluttony. Dementors. Mushrooms. Parking in Los Angeles. Rap. Soy cheese that has casein. The Malfoy family. Silence. People who speak quietly. Drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes (sXe FTW). Breeders. People who don't open the chip bag all the way. Pineapple on pizza.
Why You Went Vegan: There were many reasons why I decided to go vegan. In order to understand it, I created this equation: One of peta2's "What They Never Told You" + not understanding why we mourn the loss of a cat or dog yet eat the rotting corpse of another animal x longtime vegan Davey Havok = Tylor being a vegan animal rights activist.
Companion Animals? Mhm! I share my life with our terrific dog, Roxy. She is an adorable adoptee from our local shelter, and nothing makes me happier than waking up next to her and seeing her snoring away. I also share my life with two brother and sister cats, named Samson and Jasmine. They are so adorable that I literally always have to fight the urge to pick them up and snuggle them.
How Big a Harry Potter Fan Are You? Well, if having two Harry Potter tattoos (a dark mark on my left forearm and the Deathly Hallows symbol on the back of my neck) doesn't show you, let me tell you this: I spend most of my free time taking notes and writing Harry Potter trivia when I reread the series. I reread the series once every two weeks. I go to Harry Potter–themed cruises and camps and was recently named head boy. I also got 100 percent on my O.W.L.s at the aforementioned camp. I enjoy playing with Harry Potter action figures and recreating scenes from the books. I have been to every midnight movie showing since Goblet of Fire. I have played the real-life, muggle version of Quidditch for three years. I even coach my team in L.A., called the Hollywood Harpies. I collect different editions of the books in many different languages. And the topper on the vegan cake? I carry my custom-made wand with me everywhere I go! Hey, you never know when the Dementors might attack!
