Do you ever feel like your face is gonna melt off in this muy caliente summer heat? I know I do! The fastest and tastiest way to cool down on these hot-ass days is by rockin’ some super simple homemade popsicles. Check out these refreshing Creamy Raspberry-Orange popsicles that fellow staffer and homedog, Lauren, concocted. *drool*

Creamy Raspberry-Orange Popsicles
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup orange juice
1 cup plain soy yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. agave nectar

  • Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until they are well combined and the texture is consistent.
  • Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for a few hours.
  • Enjoy!

Tip: If you have trouble removing the popsicles from their molds, briefly run the mold under warm water or let the popsicles sit at room temperature for a few minutes before removing them.

Alternate serving suggestion: Fill an ice-cube tray with the mixture. Insert a toothpick into the center of each ice cube mold. Freeze, then enjoy bite-size popsicle treats!

Makes about 6 full-size popsicles

Oh, now these I want to try! :) But where can you buy ‘agave nectar’ if you’re living in the UK because I’ve never heard of it? Thank-you! :)

As a kid, I was and am still curious about the great big world we live in, and I thought nothing of animal abuse. But for some or no completely good reasons, I was getting sicker and weaker. Then one day I heard about PETA while I was on the internet. I got a little curious, and I went veg after finding out meat was one of the reasons I was sicker. Right now, I'm still trying to give up meat for my health. But I'm getting there!
