North Carolina law-enforcement officials raided a Butterball turkey factory farm after viewing disturbing video footage of workers who abused turkeys. The video, shot during an undercover investigation by Mercy For Animals, shows workers who kick and stomp on birds, smash them into the ground, and bash in their heads with metal rods.
The abuse documented by PETA and Mercy For Animals is apparently business as usual for Butterball and the turkey industry. Click here to urge the company to adopt “controlled-atmosphere killing” (CAK), in which birds are killed by inert gas while still in their transport crates, eliminating much of the opportunity for abuse at the slaughterhouse. And to help end the abuse that these intelligent, sensitive animals suffer before they make it to slaughter, refuse to eat turkeys and choose fowl-friendly faux turkey instead.

I have always lived in Los Angeles but my family and I went to Mexico for my parents wedding. So we came back to LA. I have always liked animals and it was til I was like about 14 when I learned about tests they do on animals and I began to explore animal cruelty because I was interested it in it. I have watched videos that just broke my heart so that's why today I'm doing all I can to not buy anything that has harmed an animal and I'm vegetarian .
I'm tall, I love sewing, fashion and the environment, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.) Obviously, I love animals! :)

my parents swear by butterball when it comes to holiday dinner, I always inform them and they think its sooo gross, but in the end, they are just in denial, bc my moms words, well I didnt see it happen. Im just thinking, just bc you didnt see it doesnt mean it don happen. shes like quit showing me this stuff or Ill never wanna eat meat again…. people like that, are just sooooo sad to me… bc they are in denial….. I wish the world would change.
