This past week, I had the great pleasure of traveling with our wonderful peta2 campus outreach crew as they kicked off their extensive fall semester tour. The team will be visiting dozens of universities across North America this season, and they hit the ground running last week by rallying support for Meatless Monday programs at two major schools—UNC Chapel Hill and James Madison University.
Working alongside campus organizations, more than 4,000 students signed our petition in support of Meatless Mondays at their schools—in just four days! Now the pressure is on the administrators to respond to student demand.
As usual, every student who signed also walked away with a free peta2 DVD and information booklet, so that they can learn why so many students are shunning meat on campus. Some lucky folks even snagged a snack of free vegan jerky and a cookie during our lunchtime tabling!
At every stop, our team is working alongside students to help push for tangible improvements on campus, while also educating people about animal rights along the way. It’s a double-whammy, and we’d love for you to join us!

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
