So you already know that the annual Canadian seal slaughter is the largest marine-mammal massacre in the world, with the Canadian government sanctioning the murder of hundreds of baby seals every year for the bloody fur trade.

Want more facts, though? Check out peta2’s first-ever video infographic exploring the Canadian seal slaughter and then take action to get this deadly tradition stopped.

:/ Seals are my favorite animal… and this just breaks my heart every time. How can someone do such a thing to such cute and fluffy animals…

First of all I’m sending this to everyone at college to spread the word around! They should show this in schools too, starting in grade school…get people informed early on. I never wear fur or faux fur and participate in every Save the Seals campaign I can!

As a kid, I was and am still curious about the great big world we live in, and I thought nothing of animal abuse. But for some or no completely good reasons, I was getting sicker and weaker. Then one day I heard about PETA while I was on the internet. I got a little curious, and I went veg after finding out meat was one of the reasons I was sicker. Right now, I'm still trying to give up meat for my health. But I'm getting there!
