Who Killed Thousands of Babies Last Year?

Every year, the Canadian government gives sealers the all-clear to do THIS to hundreds of thousands of babies:
Last year, sealers were allowed to kill up to 400,000 of them.
After bashing in the heads of or shooting baby seals, sealers then hook the animals in the eye, cheek, or mouth and drag them across the ice in order to avoid damaging their delicate fur. Many of them are less than three months old and haven’t even eaten their first solid meal or taken their first swim before they are killed.
All major markets have banned seal fur, including Russia, which was importing 95% of it.
The only reason it continues is because political parties in Canada need Newfoundland’s swing seats in Parliament and will stop at nothing to show that they support local business.
Countless people worldwide have spoken out against Canada’s annual war on seals, and heck—most Canadians are even against it.
