I’m a HUGE fan of baths! Showers are great and all, but they are strictly business—I like to soak and de-stress in pretty-smelling water while I listen to some relaxing music and pretend that I’m at a fancy-schmancy resort (near a beach) getting pampered to the max.
Bath salts are key for a perfect bath—trust me. They contain Epsom salts, which are known to have many health benefits, and they ease various aches and pains. Also, the magnesium in the compound helps to release serotonin in the body, which leaves you feeling calm and relaxed. Be sure to purchase a cruelty-free baking soda as well as sea salt and an essential oil in your favorite scent.
Get ready to detox your skin and rejuvenate your body and mind. ?I swear I’m not gettin’ all hippy-dippy on y’all!
DIY Bath Salts
3/4 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup sea salt
1/4 cup cruelty-free baking soda
3-4 drops essential oil
Makes 1 1/2 cups bath salts
