I ? bananas. I use them in everythingsmoothies, cereals, peanut butter sankies, oatmeal … and now I’ve found a way to incorporate them into my beauty routine!

Did you know: Bananas are rich in potassium, Vitamin A, B, C and E, and natural oils. Bananas also contain tryptophan, a rich amino acid that works wonders for your skin (and hair).

Banana Mask Recipe (great for acne-prone skin)

What you’ll need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon agave (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Mash the banana and combine it with the agave (optional) and lemon juice until it’s creamy. Spread the mixture all over your face and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.

Give this fantastic fruity facial a whirl, and lemme know how it goes by commenting below.

Just keepin’ it real,
Sunny

I use plain old green tea as a toner every morning. After washing your face, with a cotton pad pat the (cold) tea onto your face and let dry. You don’t need to wash it off, it’s only water and tea leaves, just apply a tad of moisturizer. And all you have to do is store it in a jar in your fridge :)

I only like bananas in smoothies so this could be a good way for me to use them!

Can you eat this if you have any left over?

I also use Mary Kay because they don’t test on animals.
But this seems interesting, I think I’m gonna have to try it.

As a kid, I was and am still curious about the great big world we live in, and I thought nothing of animal abuse. But for some or no completely good reasons, I was getting sicker and weaker. Then one day I heard about PETA while I was on the internet. I got a little curious, and I went veg after finding out meat was one of the reasons I was sicker. Right now, I'm still trying to give up meat for my health. But I'm getting there!
