peta2′s fall tour season has come to an end, and I’ve been reflecting on the opportunity that peta2 has given me.
I’ve spent the fall touring with some awesome bands (Bring Me The Horizon, Mayday Parade, Hit The Lights, and Rise Against—just to name a few), talking to thousands of people about the fur industry, and eating at the best vegan restaurants in the nation. Uh, best job ever, right?
I have a massive stack of all-access passes from touring with peta2. They make my friends jealous.

I come from a pretty small town in Connecticut, and I’m the only vegan I know there. It’s ridiculously comforting being around like-minded vegans all the time! When I am off tour and go home, it’s weird to go to lunch with my friends and see them order something nonvegan. After watching ”Meet Your Meat,” I don’t know how anyone could eat animal flesh. I’ve learned almost everything I know about animal rights from my peta2 tourmates and have made lifelong friends.
Here I am in Tallahasse, Florida, while on tour with Mayday Parade.

Touring is a ton of fun. I wake up in a different city almost every day and have been to 49 states in the past year. How many of your friends can say they’ve done that? I’ve seen some inspiring sights that I never would’ve seen, like the Grand Canyon.
That’s me at the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. An elk came right up to our van! It was pretty rad, and Jess (one of the tour interns) was pretty stoked, haha.

The fall season is almost over, so before I go, I want to thank peta2 for this awesome opportunity. There are like a zillion things that I want to thank peta2 for, but I’ve condensed my list to my top two:
It’s time for you to get some all-access passes of your own! The tour internship program is hands-down one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Applications are currently being accepted for the tour internship.
