Flesh-Free Friday: The Onion Ring Burger!
Sad news: It’s our last Flesh-Free Friday together, but I’m pretty confident you’ll be sticking to meat-free weeks considering what you’ve learned this summer (that flesh is for zombies, duh!). I’m leaving you with a burger that will no doubt impress your zombie friends. Check it!
The Onion Ring Burger
- Beef patty with veggie burger (I’m using Amy’s brand!)
Frozen onion rings
- Throw your onion rings onto a baking sheet and bake according to the instructions on the bag (probably about 20-25 minutes).
- When you’ve only got about 10 minutes left on the onion rings, prepare your veggie burgers on the grill or in a frying pan on the stove. I love tabletop grills, personally.
- When your onion rings and burgers are done, grab your buns and layer your toppings! Put your onion rings on bottom, the burger next, and then the lettuce, tomato, and pickle. Top with your fave condiments (I like ketchup and mustard!).
