Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.

Testing… One..two..three. People don’t believe me when I tell them that their favorite mascara is tested on animals. When they watch this video they believe me and let me help them find products that are vegan and cruelty-free.

I went to Warped Tour of ’11 and the CD the person tabling really changed my life. I was mainly only willing to watch it since I saw “The Ready Set” and “Never Shout Never” on the back of it. When I had the chance to watch it, the end of the video is what had really scarred me. It showed factory farms, I am not entirely sure it was “Meet Your Meat” though. I had ended up crying from the video. At the time I was still eating fish but no poultry and other meat, that video made me decide to become a full fledged vegetarian, and a vegan in later life. After that video I went onto the peta2 website and saw all the causes on there, just not only campaigns against meat. Now here I am becoming an animal activist.(:

In my honest opinion i would have to say that “meet your meat” completely changed my view on the world and opened my heart to be more compassionate to all animals. This was the first animal rights video i ever watched and this was the reason i became vegetarian, the video really hit me hard and opened my eyes to the harsh cruel reality that is the truth, and i just could not be a part of it anylonger.

I’m not sure if it’s considered a Peta2 video but the video that I watched was I Am An Animal: The Story of Ingrid Newkirk and PETA. That one definitely made me think of all the stuff that is going on every day.

Paul McCartney’s video, Glass Walls, was super informative and really changed my perspective on the farming industry. The video looked at the multiple forms of food farming, from fish farming to the dairy industry. Really disturbing, hard hitting video.

I would honestly have to say PETA2′s video “Meet your Meat” changed my view of a lot of things. After my best friend made me watch that video, she asked me to go vegetarian with her and I did. That was a long time ago it seems and it changed my beliefs drastically.

Wow those are so insanely awesome!!! But the video that completely changed my life is meet your meat that was linked on your website, I can NEVER look at meat the same again, all I see when I look at meat is a terrified face that never asked or deserved any of the horrible torture and cruelty that was forced on to them
I can never unsee that video so I will never forget and never stop speaking up for whats right! Thank you for helping me see what is right

I got the free dvd “Animals Don’t Smoke” at Warped Tour this summer and it featured many of my favorite bands and they explained why they are vegan or vegetarian. Watching that dvd made me realize how cruel animals are treated for our food. Its extremely disgusting. Thanks Peta for bringing me to the light!(:

Dear Atlanta city council,
I’m writing you in the support of legal ban on bull hooks that are being used
to abuse and torment elephents. I use to think that the circuses and zoos were
in support of animals rights, but the more I learn on the torture being brought
upon them, the less I would ever want to support them. No human would ever get
away with doing this to another human so why must an elephant have to.
Please ban this act of torture, there is no excuse for it.
Thank you for reading, Ariel Podgurski

Which Peta2 Video has impacted my life the most? Hands down, I have to say the Meet Your Meat video. Not only was it educational, but it really put a new look on things. I have been borderline vegetarian my entire life, but after that video, I committed to Vegetarianism completely. The video was heart breaking and disgusting. After learning about the cancerous lesions and illnesses, I have been turned off by meat forever. Seeing animals dismembered and murdered while still conscious was tragic and unbelievable. I have shared this video with so many people and I feel I have made a difference in people’s opinions towards my lifestyle choice. I cry every time I see this video. This video has definitely made the largest impact out of all of the videos on Peta2. I thank you for this video because it has changed my life.

The “Meet your Meat” video changed my view on the world. Before I saw it, I had no idea how cruel the meat industry is. I was under the impression that the animals were killed quickly and painlessly. I’m glad to know the truth so I can stop supporting such cruelty!

I’m not sure if it was your video, but the video that most got to me was footage of the abuse that happens in factory farms, with the song Free Me. I never really supported those companies, cause I’ve grown to love and care for animals, but it made me want to shun myself and the whole humanity for even THINKING of doing such a cruel thing. So ya… And I love the song cause it fits so well

The videos that really flipped-turned my world (I just read the thing lol) had to be “If Slaughterhouses Had Glass Walls”, I shared that all over Facebook and played it all the time at school which caught people’s interest and turned a lot of people vegetarian, maybe not vegan but it is a start. I showed the fur one and one girl actually threw up! It’s so sad what they did to the poor animals!!! I think every video changed my life forever and I will NEVER go back to harming animals. Thank you Peta/Peta2 for changing my life forever!!!

All the videos have had a huge impact on me. I can’t watch alot of them cause it nearly brings me to tears. I just can’t believe the way farmers and people harm animals its not right. I could really use these for my new laptop which I’m getting for my birthday early present. I love I’m not a nugget stickers I have little one on all my moms meat in her freezer that she also hasn’t touched in a while due to me showing her videos. Thank y’all for showing what really goes on. Rock on peta.

It may not have been just PETA that changed my view of the world, but also my metamorphosis into adulthood. When I began to do things on my own, such as buying groceries, clothes, ect., I became more aware just home much one person can have an impact on something. I researched more into animal cruelty in an attempt to live in a way that I could feel comfortable with myself and I found PETA soon afterwards. I have to say, the Vegan College Cookbook has really saved my life all throughout high school and even now through my first semester in college. I’ve even got some of my friends to go meatless a couple of times a week. Since PETA has come into my life, it has made the extra step I needed to go cruelty free so much easier. Thank you so very much!!

Meet your Meat changed my life! I had a crush on this guy who was a vegetarian. He was always talking about animal rights and I considered going veg to impress him, but when he showed me Meet your Meat, I knew I had to do this for the animals. Two and a half years later, I am still vegetarian even though that guy I liked is not. In one month I move out for college and plan on becoming vegan!

The Mccruelty video changed my life because it made me realize just how cruel animal eating really is. Although my parents won’t let me try veganism, I try to eat as little meat as possible and drink almond milk.

I have to say, there’s been a couple. The first Peta video I ever saw was, I believe “Meet your meat” or some variation thereof a few years back. I was already a vegetarian but it inspired me to do more for animal rights. Just recently, however, a video called Silent Scream about fish got me back into the animal activist scene. It saddens me how many people assume fish don’t really “count” as meat because they’re “just fish”. As far as I’m concerned every living creature has the right to live without needless interruption or cruelty from humans, be they insects, fish, or mammals. Thanks to Silent Scream I’ve gotten back on the bandwagon and am once more proudly waving my animal rights flag.

Definitely Meet your Meat.
I was already vegetarian, but this led me to trying veganism (which I’m still struggling with, but it’s getting easier!) Before seeing this video I had thought animals in slaughter houses were killed quickly without pain. The truth changed my view on the world and meat.

“Meet your Meat” changed my whole perception on slaughter. Everybody wants to believe that the cow lived a happy life, and it died pain-free. But in reality, they live a terrible life. And they are tortured to death. I love to scream out “GO VEG!” to the world. And it’s what I do best! I’m glad I became a vegetarian, and it changed me for the better!

The Meet Your Meat video has impacted my outlook on life and how I see the meat around me. When I first watched that video on http://www.peta.org, I wanted to immediately do what I can and possibly even become a vegan. That took time, so I decided to become a vegetarian. I’m still working on that progress, but driving by McDonalds reminds me of that video and I suddenly get a sick feeling in my stomach. I think back on how much meat I have eaten in my lifetime and I regret not knowing about the slaughtered animals sooner. I met my meat and it changed my life.

Meet Your Meat is what really spoke to me. By the time I watched it, I was already vegetarian, and on my way to becoming the vegan and activist I am today. That video was the catalysts for some of the biggest changes in my life, though. It’s a large part of the reason that I am currently an activist instead of just being another passive vegan. I share this video with everyone who has ever questioned me about veganism and I find it to at least be effective in getting the point across. The fact that it gets the key facts across to people without making them sit through 30+ minutes of footage is why this is my go to video for changing minds <3
