It’s a fact that peta2 fans and Street Teamers are the coolest. Always ahead of the curve, you guys are probably already thinking about how to get veggie burgers in your cafeteria, telling your science class why dissection sucks, and decorating your lockers with sweet peta2 swag! So even if the weather isn’t chilly yet, why not stay ahead of the competition and score this peta2 vegetarian zip hoodie?

I’m always eating an almond butter and jelly sandwich. You have to be careful to get the kind withut honey to make sure it’s vegan, but it has a lot of protein and is perfect for the poor souls allergic to peanuts (like me)

At an ice cream parlor called Molly Moon’s, they always have a vegan choice, last season they had a vegan coconut chocolate chip option that my even a friend of mine (who wasn’t vegan) chose over the non-vegan coconut chocolate chip. She said it tasted way better! This season they have the vegan cherry chunk

My favorite vegan meal I cant live without is a grilled portebello mushroom topped with peppers and tomatoes, with a side salad. You start off by chopping the peppers and tomatoes to thin pieces, then give them a quick cook in a skillet just to heat them up. Make sure you cut off the stem and make the inside of the mushroom pretty hollow. Then you take the vegetables out, sprinkle red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar down, and put the mushroom on the skillet face down. After it grills for a couple of minutes flip it over to face up, but the vegetables in the fill it out, and cook it covered for another 4 to 5 minutes. Throw in a simple side salad with spinach, peppers, tomatoes, raisins, chickpeas, and dressing – Then you have yourself the perfect vegan meal!

A vegan food I can not live without is Sticky Sweet Barbecue Beef Tips. You start out with Gardein meatless beef tips cut and fry the beefless tips. Then add the secret sticky barbecue sauce. Prep it at home then finish it on a summer barbecue grill and guaranteed non-meat eaters and meat eaters will hover around because they can not get enough of the flavour and texture. (large)

I could never go without coconut!, it provides you with so many essential nutrients, not to mention, from coconut we get coconut oil, which is the healthiest cooking oil you can use, AND we get coconut cream, so I use that in place of cream in everything, makes awesome curries, and doesnt make me feel sick the way dairy products do!

I don’t think I can live without vegan cheesecake.
I love the kind with a layer of dark chocolate fudge on top with a million fresh strawberries. I am currently studying abroad in Italy and this is my favorite treat. I get it at Dolce Vegan, which is the best restaurant in Florence.

My all time favorite can-not-live-without vegan food is… TOFU CRAB MEAT! Tasting exactly the same, even the meat-eaters won’t tell the difference! *Powered by tofu

Recipe:
1 cake waterpack firm or extra-firm Tofu
1 quart water
1/4 cup kelp powder
1 packet kombu dashi (powdered seaweed broth), or 1
tsp other seaweed powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp sweet paprika
Drain Tofu.
Put in ziplock bag, and freeze for 24 hours.
Thaw (in microwave or fridge), and gently press out
water.
Crumble Tofu into medium-size bits.
Put all ingredients except Tofu into a saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Add Tofu.
Turn heat down to medium simmer.
Smmer for 30 minutes.
Cool and store in the broth.
Drain for use in recipes.

I cannot live without Nutritional Yeast Flakes!! I use it in almost EVERYTHING as my “cheese”. It tastes great, is super healthy and easy to use! Being a vegetarian is a whole lot easier when you have awesome vegan/vegetarian products to take the place of all of the other meat products that I used to consume three years ago. My favorite thing to eat is Light Life Smart Deli Roast Turkey Slices. Being a vegetarian I thought that I would never eat a turkey sandwich again until I tried this product. I loved eating turkey sandwiches before I made the transition and now I can have this awesome substitute. It taste just like turkey but without the cruelty. I really want to wear my decision to go vegetarian on my sleeve with this awesome hoodie (size small).
