OK, so as much as I loved my pooches and as patient as they were when I tried to hug them every 5 minutes when I was growing up, they just weren’t good snugglers. I can’t imagine why they weren’t down with my trying to use them as pillows (um … maybe because they’re not?), but the 5-year-old me had to quickly get a new best buddy: my teddy bear!
While it may be frowned upon for anyone older than 10 to curl up with a stuffed animal, I still hold a special place in my heart for my teddy. Lucky for me, Anicase makes awesome iPhone covers that are cute enough to hug but way more functional:

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.

My favourite animal was a giraffe… Because growing up I was always the tallest person in my class. I really started to identify with the Giraffe, and animal I guess made me realize how beautiful uniqueness truly is.

Favourite animal must be my dog Poppy, she’s so adorable. and i love her so much, i can tell her anything, she just sits there, she will come snuggle in with me whenever i want, she’s obedient and everything she does it perfect. I could never ask to grow up with a better dog, she’s wonderful.

My favorite animal growing up was a dinosaur! I loved everything about dinosaurs, and I pretended to have an imaginary pet dinosaur. Even now, (I’m 16) I still love dinosaurs, but my heart made room for my two very special dogs! <3

My favorite animal was always otters. Not the crazy little otters that spent a lot of time on land, but the really big adorable sea otters <3 I remember reading in a book in 4th grade that they would open shells by banging them on their tummies. I even did a report on them in 7th grade.

My favorite animal growing up and (now) is the polar bear! It always has been and always will! It’s important to pay very close attention to the polar bear conservation because they are endangered and as of right now, the climate isn’t agreeing with the habitat of the polar bears (the arctic).

For those of you who don’t know what that is it is a type of dog! My best friend is a 5 year-old rat terrier named Sasha. I simply cannot ask for a better breed of dog. She loves anybody she lays eyes on and is the best type of family dog; she is good with small children, protects us from rats(don’t worry she just chases them to the forest), and loves me! I will never stop loving the rat terrier!

My favourite animal when I was growing up was my dog, his name was Bernie, although he was actually my brothers companion I always felt a deep connection with him from the day that we got him to the day that he died. Never once did he try to bite me, which must have been an amazing feat for him considering I was such an annoying child, he was an affectionate and special companion who is constantly thought of although we have 2 puppies now and he died over 2 years ago.

My favorite animal growing up was always any type of primate. I have to say, this is mostly because of the old movie ‘Might Joe Young’. To this day, I still cry at the part where Joe’s mom is shot by poachers, and when he is trapped inside of that sanctuary. The woman in that movie really helped Joe, and loved him. I always hoped to be a woman like her, and have a primate friend of my own.

M favorite animal growing up was an elephant. They were my favorite because they were so big and I always thought it was so cute how when they would travel with their young they would hold onto each other’s tails. And i thought it was always cute how the babies were so small yet so big! I always loved how smart elephants are! And don’t forget how they never forget anything! That’s always a plus! I always wanted to be just like them!

My favorite animal when I was growing up was my dog Prancer. My parents rescued him from the local humane society when I was four and he was my Christmas present that year (hence the name Prancer). He was very special to me and just like Diana, I tried to force him to snuggle with me until I fell asleep. He eventually would let me hold on to him until I was asleep then he would hop down and go sleep with my mom, as she told me. I have always been attached to dogs and he was a very special boy and a wonderful companion. Greatly missed!

my favorite animal was, and still is a chinchilla. my neighbor had one and when i pet her fur i fell in love. I have one at the moment named butters, and i can proudly say that i dont own him, he owns me! even in my school i raised awareness about how bad the fur industry is so i can save the chinchillas and other species. my favorite animal will always and forever be chinchillas.

My favorite animal growing up, was a cow. It really sucked that I couldn’t have one of my own to take care of but that didn’t stop me from obsessing over it lol. Everything in my room was covered with cows…I really don’t know why. I just loved them. Anyway, my love for cows still exists and because of that love, I probably wouldn’t have considered being a vegan/vegetarian. Seriously..I stopped eating anything that came from a cow because I loved them so much. It was the foundation of my recent lifestlye. Of course I am vegan now, because I realized, I don’t just love cows. I just love animals.

my favorite animal growing up was our families cat Fluffy. We got him when i was in 1st gradeish but we had to give him away when i was in 7th grade-ish because we were moving to another state, but we gave him to a family friend & he was very happy with them. He was the best, white & gray color. Green eyes. We got him when he was just a kitten, my parents found him wondering around our yard. We would even fight over who got to hold him & get mad when he picked to lay on the other person! Miss him

I believe growing up my favorite animal has always been my dog baby she is a toy poddle and she has been with me since I was 8 years old I’m Turing 22 on July 16 but she has never left my side I remember if I was sick or upset or even crying over whatever reason it was she would just lay her head on my lap and howl as well I was a really sick kid growing up and had to go to vally children’s a lot and when I was home she would just stay by my side and wouldn’t leave me alone during that time in my life, I love my dog she truly has shown man’s best friend. Not only that but she is like a human to me shows emotions just as we do and she has been even though she only listens and can’t speak but I feel that she truly understands me.

My cat Capucine. My family adopted her from the Spca when she was 9 months old. I was 5. She was such a nice and amazing cat! 3 1/2 years ago we adopted 2 more kittens (one for me and one for my sister), thinking that since they were kittens they would get along very well… But they didn’t. When the kittens got older they started fighting. And by then me and my sister had bonded so well with our cats so there was no way we would give them away. We had to keep the cats separated all the time but after years of that it became too hard and Capucine was constantly scared of being attacked. So last year we did what was best for Capucine and found her a new, loving home. She is now 10. It’s so sad to think of her. I haven’t seen her since she left.

Well i had a lot of favorite animals, i loved them all so much i couldnt pick just one! I remember i used to have an arry of stuffed animals everything from teddy bears to snakes an i used to play zoo keeper and get out all of them and make little cages for them and care for them and feed them!
