As you probably already know, International “Hug a Vegetarian” Day is this Friday! This year, we really wanted to capture the international aspect of the day, so we’re introducing some brand-new signs for you to use! We have signs that you can print out in Spanish, French, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, and English. Check ‘em out!
Don’t feel like you have to use one of our signs though—we also love when you get creative and make your own! And if you know a language that we don’t have a sign for, you can, of course, make one in that language, too—I know you’re resourceful like that.
Whatever you do, be sure to bring your sign (or signs) to school and take some pics with you and your friends holding them. Then send those photos to StreetTeam@peta2.com, and we’ll hook you up with 1,000 Street Team points.

I have always lived in Los Angeles but my family and I went to Mexico for my parents wedding. So we came back to LA. I don't like LA but were here already what can I do unless I move out and find my own housing. I have always liked animals and it was til I was like about 14 when I learned about tests they do on animals and I began to explore animal cruelty because I was interested it in it. I have watched videos that just broke my heart so that's why today I'm doing all I can to not buy anything that has harmed an animal and I'm vegetarian .
I'm tall, I love sewing, fashion and the environment, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.) Obviously, I love animals! :)

I love knowing that no animal doesn’t have to suffer because I’m hungry. Animals are our friends, and people need to start realizing that.

but I believe that if the first sign is in spanish it’s wrong…
it should say “Soy vegetariano/a Abrazame!” (Abrazame soy vegetariano which is the same thing) or “Abrazos vegetarianos gratis!”
that would be for american spanish idk about the spanish from spain…

I actually made “Hug me, I’m a vegetarian” & “Hug A Veg” etc. t-shirts for the vegetarians at our High School. Sold them for 5 dollars each, and donated the money to charity. We’re all wearing them on Friday. Can’t wait!

If anyone wants a sign in German, you could write either of the following (I’m 99% sure they’re right… I’m not a native German so I don’t know the slang / common idioms, but grammatically I’m pretty sure it’s right).
