More than 10,000 live animals are violently mutilated each year in secretive U.S. military training exercises.
Thanks to a brave whistleblower, PETA has obtained sickening undercover video footage of a crude medical training course for members of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Some of the goats moaned loudly and kicked their legs during the mutilations. Later in the day, according to the whistleblower, the goats were shot in the face with pistols and hacked apart with an ax while still alive.

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)

How is this legal? This is so disturbing. How does this have anything to do with military training? I can’t even imagine what those innocent goats went through.

Couldn’t even get through the whole thing. This is sick and absolutely unnecessary. For people who are going into the military to “save lives”, these people sure are heartless.

can’t even watch, so disturbing that any person could do this to an animal they are sadistic and sick, they are not human.

What good does this training really do? Like honestly? Brutally torturing a helpless creature to “train to save people” is not right in any way, can’t the use computer graphics for that? I mean look at all the things movie directors can do, you cant tell me that they cant use that type of thing to help them train?

Actually computer graphics can not be use for training, however, because of computer graphics there are now models/simulators that can be use and are available for such training. Medical Schools use them now instead of live animals. (We just have to keep working on laboratories to get them to stop testing on live animals!)
Personally I do not see the need for breaking the animals legs or cutting them off using some crude implement – and w/o sedation. WTF is that going to teach? How to brutally torture someone? To give these medics and medical personnel live trauma victims to work on? But first they have to cause the traumatic injury? WTF is THAT all about?
Seriously, they need to stop this torture NOW, no reason, rhyme or excuse for it! Why do we need to train our fighting men and women how to inflict pain and torture techniques on another living being? THAT is sick.

There is absolutely no need for the use of live animals for trauma training, WTF is their problem; do they get off on the cries of pain from these poor animals or just in that they can cause this type of pain and ABUSE and NOT be held responsible for it? BULL!

I am totally disgusted… I would think with all the new technology they can simulate human emergency care instead of using a helpless animal whose anatomy is very different from ours.

Our military needs to get with the times and stop torturing animals! It’s cruel, unnecessary, outdated, and when this gets leaked to the public, gets us OUTRAGED.
