This weekend, Yale University will be hosting a riveting meeting of the (compassionate) minds, iV: The Ivy League Vegan Conference. Students from Brown Animal Rights Club, Columbia Students for Animal Protection, Cornell Vegan Society, Dartmouth Animal Welfare Group, Harvard Vegitas, Penn Vegan Society, Princeton Animal Welfare Society, and Yale Animal Welfare Alliance (YAWA) as well as alumni and researchers will convene in New Haven, Connecticut, to discuss a variety of topics centered on plant-based diets. They will no doubt also be eating some delicious food.

Students at Yale, one of the most influential universities in the country, have hosted a variety of vegan-focused events, including our groundbreaking “Glass Walls” exhibit last fall. They as well as students at the other iV League schools are continually raising the bar when it comes to campus activism, and this weekend will see one of their biggest and most exciting events of the year!

Here’s our Campus Outreach Team at Yale earlier this academic year, with YAWA president, Eitan Fischer.

If you’re unable to attend iV: The Ivy League Vegan Conference this weekend, contact us to host a conference or a speaker yourself! (Big Ten Vegan Conference, anyone?)
