Hailing from my home state of Michigan (that’s right—I’m a proud Michigander!), Justin McCrory is the latest peta2 Street Teamer to have Veggie Burger Project success!
So, how’d he do it?! Well, that’s easy! He just asked. Yep—that’s right, folks. All he had to do was simply e-mail the food-service staff at his high school in Lapeer, Michigan.
We asked Justin to send us a photo of the burger, and he put this little number together:
Clearly he is stoked about this sweet victory—and we are too! Way to go, Justin!

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.

Awesome man! I am still trying to get my school to serve veggie burgers. So far they’ve just added a vegetarian menu. Any suggestions?

My suggestions is too be firm but not forceful, I thought it would take protesting and a huge thing, but after getting petitions from around school, the Lunch Director was more then happy to offer the healthy options. Like she said, most times all you have to do is ask! But always remember most lunches are run by distributors so what they offer depends on what the lunch directors can serve. We have Gordon Food Services. Just ask to sit down with your Lunch Director and look at the options! GO get em’ be strong and Don’t be silent! Keep up the great work!

My food staff is horrible. My lunch server says it’s stupid. Next step- email the district coordinator?
